The extensive field of application of our switchgears ranges fromguard door monitoringusing electromechanical switches or non-contacting safety sensors to theprotection of hazardous areasby means of tactile and optoelectronic safety devices and command devices with safety function.

    • Safe signal processing

        • Explosion protection - Devices for Ex-Zones

        • For explosion-endangered areas, Schmersal offers a comprehensive range of electromechanical switching devices and safety switchgear, which are approved to ATEX 95 (Directive 94/9/EC) for application in zones 2 (gas explosion) and zones 22 (dust explosion). The range also features magnetic reed switches and safety sensors, which are suitable for use in Ex zones.
